How do I obtain a public performance music licence?
Instead of reaching out to hundreds of music right holders, business owners only need to look for a collective licensing body, an ‘agent’ that represents these right holders. The body will grant a ‘blanket licence’ which allows the business owner to use all repertoires (i.e. music titles) of the right holders that the body represents at a fixed rate.

In Brunei Darussalam, BruMusic and BeAT are two music collective licesing bodies representing record producers and composers / publishers respectively. The two societies have come to an agreement that BruMusic will collect for the members and affiliated right holders of both bodies. So music users only need to obtain one music licence from BruMusic.
